ASTE Awards accepting Nominations
Honor those who do amazing things. Share with us people who demonstrate true technology integration and innovative teaching and learning in Alaska. Nominations for the 2014 ASTE Technology Leadership Awards are open now and close on January 24, 2014.
Teacher/Faculty of the Year: Recognizes Alaskan educators responsible for the day-to-day instruction of PK-20 students. Nominees may include innovative classroom teachers, library media specialists, technology integration specialists, or others. The nominee must spend at least 75% of his/her day in direct instruction.
Tech Support of the Year: Recognizes Alaskans who help teachers/faculty find and use technology. Nominees may include technology integration specialist, instructional web support, database integration support, or others who work behind the scenes. The nominee must spend less than 75% of his/her day in direct instruction.
Administrator of the Year: Recognizes Alaskans who lead schools/organizations in the innovative use of technology. Nominees may include PK-12 school principals or district administrators, as well as directors or department heads of colleges or universities. The nominee must be a full or part-time supervisor of educators implementing innovative technology practices.
