Instructor: Tammy Morris
Tammy Morris spent 17 years in elementary classrooms and, while earning her Masters in Educational Technology, grew to appreciate the impact technology inspires in education. Her last three years in a school district were enjoyed as a Technology Staff Development Coordinator, and as if that weren't enough fun, she also assumed duties of District Technology Coordinator. Relocation to a new town prompted retirement from school districts and the formation of Inspired Impact, LLC. Now Tammy spends her time helping other educators to become inspired through the impact of technology by providing professional development on various aspects of educational technology, from SmartBoard to Web 2.0 tools to gleaning and analyzing data. She also enjoys teaching university courses online, as well as contracting with the Alaska Department of Education for jobs ranging from District Technology Plan Reviewer to Grant Evaluator and Facilitator.
Tammy has lived in Alaska most of her life, spending 25 years in Fairbanks, 14 years in Ketchikan, and from 2009 until the present in Juneau. She and her husband of 34 years have 3 grown children and 8 grandchildren.
