My name is Sam McPhetres and I am the Southeast Alaska Board Representative for ASTE. I was born and raised in Southeast Alaska and currently teach at the Haines Borough School District. My duties range from maintaining the network of over 300 machines including a 1 to 1 program at the high school, to teaching four technology driven classes and one math class. I understand how Southeast Alaska teachers often wear many hats.

When not working long hours at the school, I enjoy spending quality time with my wife, Shannon, and three year old son, Owen.
