Randy Fleharty is currently the Technology Integration Facilitator and E-Rate Coordinator for Bering Strait School District.
Randy has been in Education for 17 years in a wide variety of positions from teacher to technology coordinator. His teaching career started in Denali Borough School District and continued in the Aleutians East Borough School District in Sand Point. During those early years he taught and commercial fished. In 2000 he moved to Chugach School District and in his tenure there he was a head teacher in Tatitlek and technology coordinator at the district office.
Randy's career has taken him all over the state but for all of his 17 years career in education he has been an ASTE contributor. He has served on the ASTE Board as President for two years in 03/04 and 04/05. He has spent his career promoting and using technology in schools from the classroom to the district level.
