Jon Clouse is the Western representative for ASTE.
Jon lives in Dillingham with his wife, two daughters, and yellow lab. He enjoys spending time with his family and getting outdoors when possible. His summers have been spent getting his masters degree and working on projects around his house.
All eight years of his professional career have been with Southwest Region Schools. Jon taught all subjects to the 6th/7th grade class at Chief Ivan Blunka School in New Stuyahok for four years. The past four years he has worked in the technology department at Southwest Region Schools. As the Computer Assisted Instruction Specialist, he works with teachers and students to integrate technology into the classroom as well as troubleshoot issues and repair computers. He has helped his school district successfully initiate and support the AASB 1-to-1 project. Jon is currently an Apple Certified Help Desk Specialist, Apple Certified Desktop Technician, and Apple Certified Portable Technician. He has been a member of ASTE for the past four years and is excited work with educators from around the state.
