What’s in Store at ASTE 2016! – The Keynotes and the Featured

Preparation for the conference is in full swing, and now, it is time to reveal some of the movers and shakers. The lineup is packed with innovation and prestige! We are honored to present three excellent speakers to the ASTE Membership.

We are honored to have Cory Doctorow, the well-known author, blogger, journalist, activist. Tackling the many issues facing our technological society and connected world with stark honesty and humor.  Visit his website to learn more about him and the work he is doing!

Leading educator, Josh Stumpenhorst (www.stumpteacher.com), will also be joining us in February. Having recently spoken at ISTE, the 2012 Illinois Teacher of the Year is on the forefront of what the paradigm shifts happening in our profession. He is also the author of The New Teacher Revolution: Changing Education for a New Generation of Learners.

Mover, shaker, and Tech & Learning Magazine’s 2014 leader of the Year, Carl Hooker, is Saturday’s Leadership Summit speaker. Technology integration being on the forefront of his career in education; he has been on the cutting edge of change.

An ASTE Favorite has returned!!, Jim Sill will be joining us again this year. As an Apple Distinguished Educator and Google in Education Certified Trainer, Mr. Sill brings with him all the tools needed to spark change, creativity and innovation in a classroom.
