The ASTE Board is looking for individuals committed to helping ASTE serve our members and mission. Please fill out the following form to nominate someone you know or yourself for election to the ASTE Board of Directors.
ASTE is looking for leaders to represent our members and continue to focus on the organization’s mission to promote access to technology, connectivity to information resources, and technology integration for all Alaskan learners.
We are actively seeking nominees from all areas of Alaska. To nominate someone, please fill out this brief survey about your nominee.
Nominations are due by December 8th, 2020

The ASTE Board of Directors will have four Representative positions and two Officer positions opening in 2021:  Anchorage, Western, Southcentral, and Secretary positions, which are a two-year term. Southeast Representative is a one year term. President-Elect is a three-year term.

The purposes of this organization are to:

Provide a professional educational technology association within the state of Alaska
Provide for the sharing and exchange of ideas, techniques, materials, and procedures for use in educational technology
Promote general recognition of the vital role played by educational technology professionals
Promote and encourage appropriate use of technology for the improvement of instruction and educational management
Promote collaboration between business, educational entities, and community
Promote professional standards and the effective integration of technology into instructional programs
Promote and encourage membership and participation in the Alaska Society for Technology in Education
