Alexis Griffee is an educator who has taught in various settings, from New Mexico to Alaska. Currently, Alexis is a secondary science teacher in the Anchorage School District. With degrees in Environmental Science, Education and Educational Leadership, she is an advocate for educational technology. Her educational focus targets advocacy, professional development and curriculum work to incorporate technology in lessons to teach 21st century skills and model relevant application of concepts and standards through problem and place based teaching. Alexis currently serves on the Alaska Society of Technology in Education (ASTE) board as the communications and advocacy chair and was selected as the ASTE 2024 Teacher of the Year.
