The Red Boucher Scholarship Fund supports outstanding Alaskan candidates in the pursuit of technology education and/or training to honor H.A. “Red” Boucher. Red Boucher is recognized at the state and national level as one of the pioneers of the Information Age and a nationally recognized authority on the subject of computer mediated communication. He had a long and distinguished career of public service, including holding the elected offices of Lt. Governor and State Representative.

The Red Boucher Scholarship will provide an award of $1000.

The Red Boucher Scholarship, administered by the Alaska Community Foundation (ACF), and will provide an annual award of $1,000 to an outstanding Alaskan candidate in the pursuit of technology education and/or training. The 2017 Red Boucher Scholarship recipients were Kate Zimmerman Embry and Jack Moseley.

The 2018 recipient will be announced at the ASTE 2017 ASTE Conference in February 2018, at The Hotel Captain Cook in Anchorage, Alaska.
